Your library belongs to the account you are using.

Local account, local work

The current app stores accounts and library metadata on your machine. Create an account to start an empty workspace. Profile, preferences, notes and notification state persist locally.

The earlier personal library is not automatically assigned to a new account. Switching accounts should clear the previous workspace and keep its audio and notes private.

Two different accounts

Your local studio account is separate from the proposed purchase/licence account. A public account service, internet recovery and email verification are not currently launched.

Licence and recovery

Trial, purchase, activation and device recovery are being prepared. A paid licence must come from verified fulfillment, not a checkout redirect. The proposed device policy is one person on two computers; it is not yet a final offer.

Keep local backups. A purchase account is not an online backup of your music. See support for the current recovery limits.
